There’s nothing else quite like it!

Hundreds of people enjoy their lunch with family and friends at our festival and many others get their orders to go. Either way, don't miss it.

Newcomers and outsiders find it hard to believe that such a modest-sized church could produce an annual event with such diversity and wide appeal. It started modestly in 1992 and keeps getting better each year. This year will be our 25th

Fall festival takes place each year on the first Friday and Saturday in October. Hundreds of area residents and people who work in the Forks of the River Industrial Park mark their calendars and come by for the food and fun. Some people from out of our region, plan their fall trip to the Smokey Mountains or other popular destinations in our area to include our festival.

Asbury Diner:

Savory homemade barbecue, including pulled pork, chicken, and baby back ribs.

We smoke up some Southern-style barbeque, grill burgers, and match them with savory sides, like slaw and baked beans, for a complete meal to eat onsite or to take back home or to those poor smucks at work who didn’t get to come. We also offer chili and tamales, known in this neck of the woods when served together as a “full house.”

The lunches will be waiting for you when you get here. Everything is good, but we feature our barbecue lunches. You can have your choice of our hickory smoked pulled pork, half chicken, or savory ribs (limited supply) with sides. Click here to see menu.

Children’s Activities: Special activities that include pumpkin carving and face painting. Plus other special entertainment that varies from year to year.

Sweet Shop: Church members bake up crowd favorites and their specialties of cakes, pies, and candies, all homemade, of course. Here you can find perennial favorites like apple stack cakes and caramel cakes as well as peanut butter and chocolate fudge – if you get here early enough.
